Description: Storm Mountain provided seasonal avalanche services for the Kemess Gold and Copper Mine operations. Over 160 avalanche paths spanning 3 geoclimatic zones threatened mining infrastructure and road access. Storm Mountain expertly managed the avalanche hazard and helped ensure safe working conditions throughout the winters while this mine was in operation up to its closure in 2011.
